1 What is green architecture?

Green Architecture  tries to minimise the negative impact buildings have on the environment.

It uses recycled or renewable building materials. It uses little energy, for example:

cool roofs keeps the building cool in summer, double or triple glass windows mantain a stable
indoor temperature.

2- What does an eco-home  consist of?

Eco-homes  have  solar panels or micro wind turbines, systems to reduce water consumption and 
energy-efficient household appliances and lights.

3- What can we do to make our homes "green"?

We can install special accessories in showers, sinks and toilets to reduce water consumption.

We can  use LED lightbulbs,  dishwashers and fridges with more energy stars.

We can buy sustainable cleaning products or plants for our gardens that
don‘t  need a lot of water
